Subaru Legacy GT EJ20X/Y Banjo Filter Delete Kit V3
The most important upgrade for a long engine life of your EJ20X/Y.
After several turbo and one or two engine failures, we addressed the cause and fixed it with our BFDK.
The steel flex kit removes some holbolts in the EJ20 block including filters, which become clogged over time. This disrupts the oil supply, especially to the turbocharger and the AVCS valves, and in the worst case scenario, this can result in turbo damage or even major engine damage.
The kit also eliminates impractical hardlines on the right side of the engine, which makes screwing easier. However, the heat protection plate needs to be adjusted slightly, if it is still there.
In the updated version, the T-piece has now been replaced with a higher quality one and another angle has been added for a nicer pipe run.
The turbocharger must be removed for installation. We would also be happy to install our kit for you.
