Technology:

By using a large, 46mm piston in the 53mm damper and the use of high-quality damper oil, the BC Racing BR coilover suspension guarantees perfect driving characteristics in all situations. Thanks to the generous dimensions of the piston, dip tube and the high oil filling quantity, temperature fluctuations during operation can be minimized, which enables consistently stable driving behavior. In order to perfect the damper characteristics, the shock absorbers are filled with nitrogen in addition to the oil filling and thus provide constant pressure.

Suspension setup:

Thanks to the special design of the BC Racing chassis, the spring preload can be adjusted independently of the lowering. This allows the chassis to be ideally adapted to the vehicle and wheel/tire combination

The height of the vehicle is adjusted via the sleeve in which the damper sits. This means that the height can be adjusted independently of the spring preload and the damper hardness.

The shock absorbers offer a 30-fold hardness adjustment via an adjustment screw on the upper part of the shock absorber. If it is possible due to the design, BC supplies adjustable camber bearings, which enable the wheel camber to be adjusted.

Variants: 

Different versions of the BR-Series are available, which are mostly based on the original damper system:

BR-RS:

- Front: rubber dome bearing 

- Rear: rubber dome bearings if available 

BR-RA:

- Front: aluminum dome bearing, if possible with camber adjustment

- Rear: rubber dome bearings if available

BR-RH:

- Front: aluminum dome bearing, if possible with camber adjustment

- Rear: aluminum strut mount

BR-RN:

- Front: without cathedral bearing

- Rear: rubber dome bearings if available 

Quality:

In order to ensure perfect quality over the long term, BC Racing uses powder-coated / chrome-plated steel. All aluminum parts are anodized gold and can withstand all weather conditions.

The suspension springs are cold-drawn from SAE9254 and are tested with 500,000 compression cycles and checked for perfect quality.

The spring rates can be adjusted on request; from us you will receive the standard spring rates to suit your vehicle and the test documents without any special information.

This chassis is delivered without a parts certificate. Assembly possible with us.

Unfortunately, we cannot offer you a conversion to tested springs for this 350Z chassis. Registration is not possible in this case.
