Hot temperatures in the engine compartment are now a problem of the past! Thanks to industry-leading construction, you can reduce the temperatures around your turbo by up to 90% with these Funk Motorsport heat protection “diapers”!

The construction made of 4 layers of special insulating wool offers up to 3x more thermal protection than standard turbo diapers. This allows you to protect various components in your engine compartment and increase their service life. Often affected are oil or coolant lines or plastic components, which are affected by the heat of the turbo.

Another highlight: Thanks to the special design, the radio heat protection can be easily dismantled and reinstalled later. It retains its longevity even at temperatures above 1300°C.

The products are available in three versions: titanium, carbon, or “Inside Out”.

In addition to the 4-layer insulation, titanium and carbon also offer a visually appealing outer layer in a selected look.

With the Inside Out version, you will also find the insulating material from the inside on the outside of your heat protection. This means that the protective cover can be in contact with a heat source at the same time on the inside and outside. This is the case, for example, with some manifolds.

Please note: The insulation wool of the heat protection is not flammable. However, when combined with flammable liquids, it can serve as an ignition source to create a flame.

Oil and fuel lines must therefore always be maintained.
